🎶 Mickey Maharajh
Mickey Maharajh is a professional steelpan musician from Trinidad and Tobago whose music blends traditional Caribbean rhythms with contemporary musical influences. His performances celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the steelpan while bringing vibrant energy to audiences everywhere. Mickey will provide live steelpan ambiance throughout the event and accompany featured performances during the program.
🎤 Liane Stemmler
Liane Stemmler is a Canadian-Trinbagonian vocalist and songwriter from Kitchener-Waterloo. Known for her powerful voice and warm smile, she sings in churches, sings Lead in a 4-Part Harmony Women’s a cappella ensemble and is the female singer for a band that blends the sounds of Soft Rock, Soul, R&B, Jazz, Pop and Country. Through her music, Liane proudly celebrates her Trinidad and Tobago heritage.
🎙 Desiree McKenzie
Desiree McKenzie is an award-winning poet, arts educator, national poetry slam champion, and voice actor based in Toronto. Her work has been featured by organizations such as CBC’s Poetic License series, When Sisters Speak, Button Poetry, Clearco Financial, Kids Help Phone, and Home Depot. Through powerful storytelling and dynamic performance, Desiree’s spoken word celebrates identity, resilience, and proudly highlights her Trinidad and Tobago
🎭 Princess Trinidad
Princess Trinidad (Joanne Davis) is a Trinidad and Tobago–born singer who has been sharing her love of music since childhood. She began singing at the age of nine in church and school choirs before migrating to Canada. In Toronto, she has performed as a backup singer for various artists and co-produced a radio program on CHRY 105.5 FM. Through her performances, Princess Trinidad continues to celebrate the vibrant musical heritage and culture of Trinidad and Tobago.
🎤 Gavin Williamson
Gavin Williamson is a dynamic vocalist, entertainer, and percussionist who has been captivating audiences for more than 25 years. Known for his powerful, soulful voice and engaging stage presence, he brings timeless classics and contemporary favourites to life for audiences of all ages.
Drawing inspiration from legends such as Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Luther Vandross, Bob Marley, and Earth, Wind & Fire, Gavin blends genres including Motown, R&B, reggae, gospel, jazz, and pop.
He also energizes audiences with vibrant Soca selections from the twin-island nation of Trinidad & Tobago.
